The Bluewater Trail
The Bluewater Trail is a shared pedestrian and bicycle pathway around the city, directly linking local recreational facilities - Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens, Sandfly Creek Environmental Walk, Catherine Freeman Walk, the free three-tiered Bluewater Lagoon swimming facility, Bluewater Quay and Iluka Park All Abilities Playground.
The trail boasts the following features:
